WHOA – I knew Autechre was releasing another album, but I figured it’d just be more of the same “intelligent” electornic music (i.e – incomprehendable, psychotic noises), but does this mix for FACT mean they’re going in a more hip-hop-oriented direction? I remember seeing them back in 10th grade and having no idea what the hell happened to my brain after I got out of the show. There was hardly a beat to follow the entire time, but the noises they created were so awesome that I still vividly remember the whole show to this day. This mix has me really stoked for the new release.

Really dope beat tape from Hungarian producer Hidden of Hangos Zona. One of the more original takes on the whole post-dilla sound I’ve heard lately, and I really dig the acapella’s he uses. Big ups to You’ll Soon Know for tipping everyone off to this heat.
